The Rock Ranch hosts private single or group yoga sessions by request only. There is a private in house studio, and practices also take place on the main house lawn or back porch. Please email email@example.com to reach the teacher, or simply find Valarie at the Ranch in person. She also teaches classes in the neighboring town Worland. WHAT TO EXPECT:
Classes- Experiences and levels of participants will vary, and all are welcome. Count on your instructor to guide you through the practice in honor of where your body is on the mat that day! Modifications and props will be available. You are welcome to decline participating in any activity at any time during your practice.
Vinyasa Slow Flow- A slow flow to moderately paced class centered around gentle stretching. Class always begins with light breath work, and an elevating warm up of fluid movement and sun salutation variations. A series of creative standing poses follows, which may include twists, backbends, forward folds, hip openers, core, and shoulder openers. There may be a peak pose with which the class will culminate up to, and perhaps include an inversion, standing pose, or possibly an arm balance. Cooling down the breathe slows, and the floor is utilized before the practice ends with a lengthy savasana, or resting pose.

Grounds- The Ten Sleep Rock Ranch is located on 50 acres of land. Campsites come with picnic tables, fire rings, and shade underneath over 100 apple trees. The bathhouse includes restrooms, coin operated showers, a sink for both washing dishes and filling drinking containers, as well as a community fridge. There is a social area canopy with wifi access and electrical outlets for charging phones and other devices, as well as an information board that lists local events and town resources. The Ten Sleep creek is available for wading and swimming, but not bathing.

WHAT TO BRING:
Some suggestions per practice, weather, and season: Yoga mat, towel, personal props, water bottle, sunscreen, hat/sunglasses, layers, blanket.
Cost- Investment varies per request of single/group private sessions, and the outdoor lawn classes are $8 per person and are sometimes donation based.
Insured instructor- Valarie Anderson is a certified and insured instructor. Waiver must be signed to participate in all yoga activities.
Valarie Tes Anderson moved to Ten Sleep, Wyoming to slow down her pace of life. Originally from California she was raised to love camping, fishing, and the outdoors. Running and rock climbing are her favorites ways to enjoy nature. Over the years both activities led to small injuries due to imbalances in her body. She found yoga to heal and restore her physical and mental harmony. Once a kindergarten teacher, she loves to teach those beginning their yoga journey, or continuing their practice even after years of being off the mat. Now she owns and manages the Ten Sleep Rock Ranch with her husband and climbing partner, where they host campers on the grounds and in cabins.
